London via L.A producer Vegyn has announced a new EP, Like A Good Old Friend, and has dropped the first taste, with the new single 'B4 The Computer Crash'. With his debut album featuring rappers like JPEGMAFIA, and his production work on Frank Ocean's album Blonde, Vegyn always seems to have something exciting in the pipeline. The new single sees crunchy monotonous snare hits and jazz keys nod to a classic dance sound, but then the track is swiftly engulfed by the warmth of lo-fi electronics, atmospheric pads, and ambient glitches, reminiscent of the 90s Norwegian duo Röyksopp. 'B4 The Computer Crash' is an immersive tangle of electronics.
